Green Bay Packers player arrested at airport with gun

A lot of things have happened since my last report. Indiana's storybook ending came true as they defeated the Miami Hurricanes in their backyard pretty much...to win the National Championship. The turn around that Indiana just pulled off is the stuff of movies I mean it's incredible. They were pretty much irrelevant for decades and now they're National Champions...congratulations!

Not much has changed in the WNBA, the players are still turning down record breaking money for the ladies because they want revenue sharing like the NBA players get. What a mess! They have a huge media rights deal next year that's going to bring in $200 million a year for 11 years. This is good news but the ladies feel they're being short-changed in the new contract proposal. Remember, that deal doesn't kick in until next year, they still need to play this upcoming season. The schedule has come out for the new season but the players and owners don't seem to be budging.

From the owner's side of things, these guys haven't see a profit since the WNBA begin operations in 1996. So the owners are like 'we haven't made a dime off of you guys and now you want a part of the media rights? Easy ladies...not so fast. Here take this $500,000 to $1.3 million contract which by the way is five times what the players currently get. The players are like nah we're going to risk it all...wow good luck! Holding out for the big payday almost never works. The players have the most to lose because they're betting the league in essence. But are the owners really going to let go of $2 billion when they never made a profit? We'll see I guess.

Meanwhile the NFL is in the headlines and it's not about the playoffs. Nope, it's about another player going Wild Wild West in the airport. Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Rasheed Walker is the latest player trying to bring heat on a plane. Dude had a firearm and ammuniton in a bag that he voluntarily checked at LaGuardia in New York City, of all places to try something like this.

It went how you thought it would go...dude was arrested and booked on two counts of second degree criminal possession of a weapon and one count of criminal possession of a firearm. He appeared in Queens court and released without bail.

Walker's attorney said his client mistakenly believed he could travel with his gun...Who does he think he is Jason Bourne? Dudes firearms are registered in Wisconsin not NY so they had to arrest him and his lawyer is confident NY will drop the case. So it was an error in judgement, hey we all make mistakes but ignorance is not a legal defense especially when it comes to packing heat at an airport.

The AFC and NFC Championship games are set...

Well, the NFL Division round is over and we have our AFC and NFC championships games all set. Just like the wild card round there was some surprises and some things I figured were going to happen. My last report I wrote about Bills vs Broncos and the fumbles, interceptions, and alleged blown calls by the referees that ultimately got the Bills head coach whacked.

I wrote a little about the 49ers vs Seahawks game. What I didn't write about was how the 49ers pregame antics might have done more harm than good. San Francisco's out there dancing and celebrating...maybe it was some sort of pregame ritual, maybe it was to show Seattle that they weren't scared and were ready to battle, all I know is it was stupid. Seattle torched the 49ers 41-6...49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan didn't look like he was ready to party after the game.

The Patriots defeated the Texans 28-16. Houston had probably the best defense all year but I knew they would struggle in Foxborough in January...everybody does. That game looked cold on tv, I've been to Boston in January for the Royal Rumble...this is when my wife and I first started dating...to describe the temperature as cold doesn't do it justice, it felt like I was on Pluto. At those extreme temps you're not thinking about the next play, you're thinking about how long before I'm in the locker room slamming some hot cocoa. How else do you explain CJ Stroud forgetting how to be a quarterback?

The Los Angeles Rams at the Chicago Bears was umm interesting I would say. Matthew Stafford and the Rams won in spite of themselves. I mean Stafford didn't throw a touchdown for the first time in 19 games. Chicago and their QB Caleb Williams did throw 2 touchdowns but he also had 3 interceptions. This game came down to who would make the fewest mistakes and the Rams won in overtime.

So we get the Rams vs Seahawks...again...this time for the NFC Championship, and the Patriots vs the Broncos for the AFC Championship. Post season experience is how I would bet at the sportsbooks and that means the Los Angeles Rams vs New England Patriots in the Superbowl if I had to pick...that being said, Seattle and Denver are the hot teams which is why they're both ranked No.1

Bills lose heartbreaker to the Broncos in overtime

Hey everyone I'm back from my refreshing vacation and a lot has happened since my last post. Well to be honest I wasn't on vacation, I'm in this new training program and it is intense. Why am I doing this? Money! Specifically more money a lot more. I haven't studied this hard since I was in college but this is well worth it. Despite my personal life being so busy one thing I didn't forget about was the NFL Divisional round playoffs.

I will say the Bills vs Broncos game was a thriller and not a classic. A classic implies a nearly perfect game on both sides of the field and this game was far from perfect. Way too many turnovers and injuries for me and probably the coaches. I told you in my last report that some of my friends are diehard Bills fans...they live for the team and die for the team...each and every year. The Buffalo Bills team has the heart of a champion. I felt so bad for Josh Allen and my friends as soon as the game was over.

You can have all the heart in the world but you must be consistent. Your heart and determination must always show. Personally, I didn't bet against the Bills, but if you saw me in the week leading up to the game I was saying I wouldn't bet against Sean Payton and the Broncos at home. The Bills damn near pulled it off but inconsistency did them in once again.

I thought what happened in this game would've happened in the Jaguars game. The Jaguars played a playoff game at home because they were so good at disrupting offenses all year but the Bills played a brilliant game against them. That brilliance disappeared against the Broncos. Some of it was the Broncos defense but a lot of it was on the Bills with their numerous turnovers. You can not give a number one seeded team that many extra chances at home.

Superman is human...Josh Allen is known for putting the team on his back and dragging them into glory. The Bills show flashes of being a great team...sometimes. Other times they look lost and get exposed by some pretty awful teams like what happened in the regular season. As great as Josh plays and as much heart as this team has they'll never win let alone reach a Superbowl unless they're consistent. You don't have to win every game but you should look like a cohesive team every game because if you're not you're going to lose to a better team every year.

As for the Broncos, their win cost them their quarterback. It was announced that Bo Nix broke his ankle so Denver gets to play the AFC Championship game with a backup QB. It's not impossible to win, the Philadelphia Eagles won a Superbowl with Nick Foles as QB and dude was a backup...that Eagles team was stacked though.

Another January another post season exit for the Bills and my friends know I like the Miami Dolphins but I'm far from a diehard fan. I'll be a diehard Dolphins fan again when they start to play like they give a damn about the game. Still, I'm getting...'The Bills are better than the Dolphins', 'How many wins do you guys have?'

Again, Miami's coach got whacked, we have a QB that's seconds away from a concussion protocol, half the roster is injured or suspended. These are just some of the things stopping the Dolphins from reaching the post season or a winning record. The Bills have the talent to make it to the Superbowl, to go on the road and win in the playoffs. As much talent as they have it does not mix with inconsistency. Inconsistent WR's, inconsistent defense, inconsistent offense, head scratching coaching decisions...I said it in my last post...the Buffalo Bills are they're own worst enemy and until they're consistent they'll never win it all.

Oh yeah, the Seattle Seahawks totally demolished the San Francisco 49ers 41-6. I understand 49ers QB Brock Purdy wasn't 100%....maybe start Mac Jones? What do I know...probably would've scored more than six points though.

Buffalo Bills selling urinals from old stadium

The Buffalo Bills have a pretty big game tomorrow against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL playoffs. I know a lot of die hard Bills fans and they sound like Cowboys fans when it comes to the playoffs, 'nothing is going to stop us this year', 'you'll see', 'there's no one in our way this year'. To that I'll say, there's always one opponent you have to be aware of and in this case it's the Bills. This regular season they have been their own worst enemy.

One example is when the Bills traveled to Miami and lost to the lowly Dolphins. The Dolphins were a dumpster fire this season, so much so they got their head coach Mike McDaniel and his khaki pants fired but they beat the Bills. Another example is when the Atlanta Falcons, who fired their head coach and their general manager this year, beat the Bills...this is despite the Falcons being shut out 30-0 by the Carolina Panthers earlier this season. Bottomline Bills fans, take the playoffs one game at a time, if you win celebrate, drink and be merry and say to yourself 'that's one!' Good luck tomorrow!

The Bills have played their last game at Highmark Stadium and are moving across the street to the new stadium which will also be called Highmark. When a stadium or an arena or any sporting place that has some historical place in culture closes, some of the venue's items are going to be auctioned off. Collectors and degenerates errrr I mean resellers from around the world will be online waiting to get their hands on some of the items from the old Highmark.

The Bills have partnered with Collectible Xchange to sell the items to the public. All of the traditional items you would expect are going to be auctioned off. Seats, pieces of turf, even pieces of goal posts are all up for grabs. Another item up for grabs are the bathroom urinals and troughs!

According to Brandon Steinner, "People want those troughs. They want that kind of stuff, so we'll make that available...your talking about Buffalo, and people take a lot of pride in the stadium."

Hey Brandon what the hell are you talking about? I understand pride in the stadium...it's 53 years old. People probably have childhood memories of going to the games with loved ones and some seats would be cool and nostalgic. Where you lose me is trying to convice me that urinals are nostalgic.

I've been to plenty of sporting events as a kid and Disney on Ice with my mom as a kid. When I had to use the bathroom I never thought 'wow this urinal would look so cool in my room.' Or as a man say to myself 'You know what this mancave really needs? A freaking urinal would be awesome!

No, if anything it was the exact opposite. I remember how disgusting the men's bathrooms were...overcrowded, filthy, half of them so gross you couldn't use them...I'm sorry, there isn't enough sanitation or cleaning materials you could hit those things with that would make me bring that into my house. To each his own I guess. Anyone I know personally thinking about throwing one of these in your mancaves...never invite me again and any future events at your home I will have to regretfully decline.

Former Carolina Panthers player suing ex-wife for exposing his private parts

Well, I guess I spoke to soon when I did a report about NFL coaches and their heads rolling because more of them got fired today including Ravens head coach Jon Harbaugh. Dude was the head coach of the Ravens for years! The Ravens did suffer a heartbreaking loss to end their season when their kicker missed the game winning field goal. Two days later you whack the head coach? Seems like an overreaction until you realize the Ravens did have a roller coaster season and the coach was getting criticized all year for not getting the ball to RB Derrick Henry enough...wow, I'm shocked. I put dude in my last blog because I assumed he was untouchable...I mean 18 years!

Well this report isn't about the Baltimore Ravens, its about the Carolina Panthers. Specifically, former player Matt Kalil and his ex-wife. Kalil's ex-wife Haley Baylee appeared in streamer Marlon Garcia's video making shocking claims about the former NFLer's penis size and how it was the cause for the end of their marriage.

In a lawsuit filed Tuesday Kalil said, Haley's "invasive commentary" on the video ruined his attempt to stay out of the public eye after retiring from football. Kalil said what Haley said in the video "implied that the size of Plantiff's genitalia was a primary factor in the parties' divorce and claimed that sexual intercourse with Plantiff would leave her 'in tears."

The ex-wife wasn't done...also on the video she described Kalil's genitalia as "two coke cans, maybe even a third."

Kalil's said because of those remarks new wife Keilani Asmus started receiving messages that became "increasingly frequent, disturbing, and alarming in nature over time." Kalil said because of his ex-wife's remarks he received unwanted attention and invasive commentary from the public. There is an adult webcam site that offered Kalil $300,000 to appear on their website.

Daryn Parker who is the Vice President of the adult website said, "We would like to offer you a $300,000 partnership to front our 'Big Confidence' campaign."

Hey Daryn! Didn't you hear what Kalil said? Dude just wanted to ride off into the sunset after his career. According to reports, his ex-wife Haley said that she wasn't expecting that one part of the interview to blow up. That's rich! The story has all three elements to go viral...sex, lies, and videotape...allegedly! Kalil is seeking a jury trial and damages.

End of NFL regular season means heads are going to roll for some teams

The Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers put on an absolute classic in a battle for the AFC North and the last remaining playoff spot. In the last two weeks the Ravens did everything they could to make the playoffs and the Steelers did the exact opposite. Pittsburgh tried their best to give away the AFC North on multiple occasions. Remember that Steelers kicker Chris Boswell missed an extra point towards the end of the game that would have given the Steelers a three point lead. It was the Ravens kicker Tyler Loop who missed the game winning field goal as time expired sending Pittsburgh into the Wild Card game. That game ended on two missed field goals in a row.

As stunned as Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are at last check head coach John Harbaugh still has his job. That can't be said for now former Las Vegas Raiders head coach Pete Carroll. Carroll and his Bubble Yum will be gone from the Raiders sidelines after one season.

The Atlanta Falcons decided to clean house as they fired both the head coach and the general manager. Coach Raheem Morris and GM Terry Fontenot both got the ax after the Falcons 19-17 win over the New Orleans Saints. Falcons owner Arthur Blank issued a statement, "The decision to move away from people who represent the organization so well and have a shared commitment to the values that are important to the organization is not an easy one, but the results on the field have not met our expectations or those of our fans and leadership. I wish Raheem and Terry the absolute best in their future pursuits."

In other words, I'm not paying you guys all of this money to keep finishing below .500...if you don't want to be 'future pursuited' get me a winning season.

This morning Cleveland decided to get rid of their head coach. The Browns fired Kevin Stefanski after six seasons. Jimmy and Dee Haslam, the owners of the Browns, said about Stefanski, "We appreciate all his hard work and dedication to our organization but our results over the last two seasons have not been satisfactory, and we believe a change at the head coaching position is necessary."

What do you mean the last two seasons? The Browns have been awful since before the expansion in 1999. I'm noticing a pattern here, if you lose more games than you win in multiple seasons, we have to future pursuit you.

That being said, how the hell does NY Giants GM Joe Schoen still have his gig? The Giants finished 4-13 this season and former head coach Brian Daboll got whacked before the season was finished. Daboll was fired for trying to get rookie QB Jaxson Dart killed this season by running him out there concussed and banged up...allegedly...and Schoen infamously overpaid Daniel Jones to keep him and ran off RB Saquon Barkley who then got traded to the Philadelphia Eagles and had a 2000 yard season on the way to a SuperBowl win...Oops! Then again there's a worse general manager that I can think of in Dallas but since he's also the owner I don't see him firing himself anytime soon.

2025 College Football Playoffs: Quarterfinals

So far the second annual NCAA college football playoffs in it's current 12 team state is doing everything a playoff should do. It's producing instant classics as well as upsets and surprises. For way too long the NCAA fought like hell to keep the Bowl Championship Series because for them it was basically a cash grab errrr I mean a way to culminate the season. However, every other legitimate sport's season culminates with a playoff and a National Championship. The BCS did that but it was usually decided behind closed doors and the smaller conferences had basically no shot to get into the title game...this format is so much better. Let teams play the game to decide the National Championship...what a concept!

We have reached the Final Four or the semifinals as they're calling it. Oregon vs Indiana and Ole Miss vs Miami. Each team had their own journey to get to the final four.

No. 5 Oregon: Did not have a bye in this tournament. They had to beat No. 12 James Madison and No. 4 Texas Tech to reach the semifinals.

No. 6 Ole Miss: Did not have a bye in this tournament. They had to beat No. 11 Tulane and No. 3 Georgia

No. 10 Miami: Did not have a bye in this tournament. They had to beat No. 7 Texas A&M and No. 2 Ohio State

No. 1 Indiana Did have a bye in this tournament...They had to beat No. 9 Alabama to reach the semifinals...

I didn't mention the other teams that did have a bye...Texas Tech, Georgia, and Ohio State. I did a report a long time ago about how I think the bye hurts a team more than it helps. I mean sure the injured players can rest up and have an extra week to get healthy, but the bye totally kills any momentum you have as a team on a winning streak or just playing in general.

Miami vs Ohio State was a great game despite Miami jumping out to a 14 point lead in the game. You just knew Ohio State was going to try to mount a comeback...they're way too good not too, but Miami held on and handed a stunned Ohio State team it's second loss of the season and eliminated last year's National Champion.

Ole Miss and Georgia played an absolute classic. A back and forth battle that resulted in a 39-34 win for Ole Miss.

The other two games were not evenly matched it seems...Oregon shut out Texas Tech 23-0 and Indiana almost shut out Alabama 38-3.

See, this is what I mean when I say the bye week is overrated. This is probably why in the NFL the Philadelphia Eagles choked away the No. 2 seed with a loss this afternoon to the Washington Commanders...now they'll have to face the 49ers next week but at least they'll have momentum!

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson fires back at critics

Welcome to 2026 guys! Can you believe it? I love Christmas and I love New Year's Day but I'm glad it's over. Now we can talk about the final week of the NFL regular season. Week 18 is going to bring some must watch matchups like Seahawks v 49ers, Panthers vs Bucs and the game I'm looking forward to the most, Ravens v Steelers. That game will decide the AFC North because the Ravens took care of business last week against the Packers and the Steelers choked errrr I mean let a 3-12 Browns team defeat them. I know, any given Sunday each team has the potential to defeat the other no matter the record. Most of the games are meaningless unless you're a gambler.

When the Ravens defeated the Packers last week they used their backup QB Tyler Huntley who played incredibly. However, the Ravens plan on using Lamar Jackson for the Steelers game. Lamar has had his share of injuries this season but it's his willingness to play for the Ravens that was being called into question.

A recent report claimed Ravens head coach John Harbaugh had grown tired of QB Lamar Jackson because he allegedly fell asleep in team meetings and developed a reputation for playing video games late into the night.

When asked if he wanted to stay with the Ravens Jackson said, "Absolutely, man...absolutely, absolutely, absolutely, I don't even know where that comes from."

Lamar also insisted he doesn't play video games late into the evening even during summer months. He also denied falling asleep in team meetings..."Do you think Harbaugh would let me fall asleep in his meeting? That's crazy. I'm right in the front. I don't know, man. It is what it is though."

When asked why he couldn't play against Green Bay Jackson said, "Someone probably thinks I'm a robot, but I'm a human being too. Unfortunately, I couldn't avoid that injury when it happened. I don't really care about the criticism. It's going to be that way, especially with how the season was going and stuff like that. When you're winning, there's no noise, but as soon as you lose, or things don't look right, all types of noise come out of nowhere, so it is what it is."

The Ravens are currently a -3.5 point favorite on the road against the Steelers. Lamar had a lot to say and I do believe him about the injuries I mean when you're injured there's nothing you can do but people don't usually come forward with an anonymous tip to lie on you. As far as not knowing where the news came from, obviously Ravens staff errrr I mean allegedly someone in the Ravens organization.

I'm just thankful for football, college and the pros otherwise...on the nights with no football I have to watch FBI Most Wanted which is my wife's new go to show, it's similar to Criminal Minds which I also barely watched. I'll write about what went down in the college football playoffs in my next blog...
